For God’s sake (and ours) get a grip, Gulliver. Why would the EU employ, as diplomats or delegates (or whatever they want to call them) people who are not citizens of an EU nation? Why, especially, would they employ Mr Farage who has caused them so much grief as an MEP? I know you're not fond of Mr Farage but let's not be silly.
