There can be no comparison between those and the 'Grenfell Tower', if that is, indeed, what you are attempting.

The burning of a Guy Fawkes effigy has been a political statement for centuries. It is a statement of disapproval and the same is true of contempory politicians who find their image being burned.
There is no comparison with a bunch of far right nutjobs revelling over the deaths of 72 men, women and children. Making fun out of a large scale tragedy, and laughing at the real victims is horrible in the extreme.
Burning a likeness of a politician is no worse than tweeting disapprovingly about them. It is just a comment of current affairs.

It OK when people are burning effigies of people they don’t like as long as the effigies are not of minorities or Muslims/Muslim religious figures etc.

As long as The effigy is of a white person, not from a minority, is Christian and British they are OK. Well that’s how it seems at any rate.

I've stated my opinion about those cretins on the thread appertaining to the Bonfire night Grenfell Fire incident, that is why I have now entered a specific thread on these other bonfire night cretins.

But it seems that some are very selective with their condemnation.
