The burning of Boris Johnson, Theresa May’s severed head, the burning of Christian crosses and even worse than all these white persons daring to paint their faces black.

/// As the giant model went past, there were boos and people shouted out “burn him”. ///

Could this be construed as a hate crime?

It OK when people are burning effigies of people they don’t like as long as the effigies are not of minorities or Muslims/Muslim religious figures etc. As long as The effigy is of a white person, not from a minority, is Christian and British they are OK. Well that’s how it seems at any rate.

Selective or have the ability to see a clear and distinct difference?

Of course there is a clear and distinct difference, anyone can see that, but that doesn't stop one wondering why some are not showing offence over this very offensive Left-Wing march.
AOG - it is NOT a left-wing march. It's purely and simply a great Lewes tradition. I thought you liked tradition?
Things steeped in tradition don't always sit well or comfortably in this modern day as we've seen and heard a lot of in recent years - from Gollies to Morris Dancers to The Britannia Coconut Dancers of Bacup, but it pays to know the difference behind things like that and nasty hurtful hateful acts aimed at the recently bereaved.

Oh I forgot some did take offence, the Zulu dancers who withdrew from the march, not for the beheading of Prime Minister May and the burning of Boris Johnson and Mrs May, but wait for it, some white marchers had blacked up their faces.

Disgusting, absolutely disgusting.
Yes they did.
Hope no one hires them again. This is all becoming truly groan-worthy.
Thousands enjoy an event, then someone tweets they are offended, and the Daily Mail pick up it and the world goes bonkers. Some minority of people are going to object to abaolutely everything. We need to have some proportion, and not blow an insignificant minority into leading the news feed.
‘Some minority of people are going to object to abaolutely everything‘

Yes, and I do wish people would realise and stop over reacting. It seems to constitute the majority of threads some days. Still, gives the remedial class kids something to moan about, I suppose.
