/// How unusual, the DM Link seems to have very little connection to the Thread Title. ///
I expected better from you, but let me try and explain it to you also?
Link: Jihadists in Nigeria pose a 'growing threat' to Britain.
Hence: Wouldn't it be wise to halt the number of Nigerians entering this country?
A little bit clearer perhaps?
Do we want any potential Jihadists coming into this country?
Oh it's such hard work dealing with some on here.

no it isnt clearer - but it DOES show that AOG ( bless the old fella!) is fearless about misquoting himself
With An Increasing Number Of Nigerians Coming Into This Country,..... increasing - is what the headline said.

Danny, //And I don't know ,or maybe I do,why you won't admit what is shown in your link.Numbers since 2015 have decreased.I shall now leave this argument.//
Your implication is insulting, but that aside, leaving a discussion seems to be your regular reaction when common sense deserts you. Look at the graph. From 2012 to 2015 between 178,000 and 181,000 Nigerians per annum came to this country. In the following three years that figure changed to between 194,000 and 199,000 per annum. That's an increase.
PeterPedant, take note. No fake news.

This thread was an AOG classic.
Step 1: Post a Title that didn't have anything to do with the link.
Step 2: Get challenged by other ABers
Step 3: Pull out some statistics which, instead of reinforcing your point, actually worsens it (to wit: AOGs statistics from 2011)
Step 4: Carry on regardless.
Fabulous.
