another dopey snowflake who should have engaged the small amount of matter between her ears before opening her considerable trap.
Took her long enough to fall o her sword.

A future politician if ever there was one.

can see that cassa, a future Mrs May, oooh perhaps not.....
Perhaps she's learnt a life lesson. If in a position of authority, check you know what you intend to criticize before putting you foot in it.
Good. She's an idiot.
Ah, that's a shame, she was an inspiring leader of young people.*

*Sarcasm alert
Question Author
she should as i said have engaged her brain before mouthing off, but she's gone and i wonder what other bright spark will take her place.
I hope she, and similarly minded students will learn a lesson - this is not your world, you just live in it, and there are rules - and you have to abide by them.
Stupid bovine!
And they are educated? Sheesh!
What a boring attitude, Andy! Rules shouldn't just be abided by sometimes!

She just picked the single most moronic time ever to challenge the rules, is all. :P

Theland - // And they are educated? Sheesh! //

Yes they are educated, and in the process of becoming more educated.

What they are not, is experienced, and that is something completely different.

Experience comes from living in the world, and you have to have quite a few more years than eighteen or nineteen to find out how everything works, and where everything fits - including yourself.
jim - // What a boring attitude, Andy! Rules shouldn't just be abided by sometimes! //

I disagree - and my experiences tells me - pick your battles.
I didn't really want to get into an argument. Whatever you think about when it's right or wrong to challenge the orthodoxy, that wasn't it.
//Experience comes from living in the world, and you have to have quite a few more years than eighteen or nineteen to find out how everything works, and where everything fits - including yourself.//

With the greatest respect Andy that's rollux, there are plenty of sensible, respectful 18 and 19 year olds who have the brains, nouse and experience to know what is and isn't a sensible topic to engage the way she did. You might forget that some of the very men she insulted were younger than that when they died for what they believed was right. It's not an age thing, it's just a stupidity thing- massive difference.
She’s got a few more years of growing up still to do......bless her.
Her parents must be ashamed. Unless they are as thick as her!
// that's what political correctness is, emmie. You're not allowed to speak your mind, even at a university. Shame! //

You're always allowed to speak your mind, but you have to be prepared to face the consequences if your mind happens to be full of embarrassingly ill-informed sheite.
