To address the issue of 'Tommy Robinson' being a liar - in this instance I do not believe that he has lied - he has passed on something which is not true, and that is not the same thing.
In my view, if you believe something to be true then you are not lying by saying it.
I always use the same illustration when this argument crops up -
If a man believes that the earth is flat, then he can take a polygraph and pass it, because he believes that what he is saying is the truth, even though factually, it is not - and so I believe he cannot be called a liar because he believes his statement to be accurate.
If you extrapolate that argument here - 'Tommy Robinson' has not lied, even though he has said something that is not true.
As far as the fact that his willingness to get on his hind legs with the least provcation for a little self-aggrandaisement, which has now roundly bitten him in the bottom - I'll leave my momentary smirking to the imagination of any regulars on here, who are well versed in my views on 'Tommy Robinson' talking nonsense for his own benefit under the guise of it being to help others.

Of course, we're all entitled to make mistakes, that's why they put rubbers on the end of pencils, but the rest of us are unlikely to make this particular error, not being quite so keen to jump into an argument in public, based on prejudicial views, which in turn are based on racially based hostility.

I know this is going to come across as passive aggressive and damning with faint praise, but I genuinely do have an admiration for somebody who is so often more wrong than right and yet doggedly fights his corner when it is patently obvious he is wrong, yet steadfastly refuses to concede and spins off into neverland to try (and fail) to prove his point.
If he was a bit (a lot) brighter, he'd make a half-way decent politician.

It’s fair to say you’ve been guilty of jumping into many an argument based on your prejudicial views. Tommy Robinson does tell it like it is – but, to his credit, he also has the courage to concede that he’s been wrong, albeit this time because he was deliberately fed false information.

I do argue, I never 'leap in', and I don't believe my views are any more or less 'prejudiced' than anyone else's on here, including yourself. I am always happy to own up if I am wrong, and to apologise if I believe that is merited.
The difference is, my mistakes are on this one website, not plastered all over international media in my endless grasping need for love and acclaim based on my dubious views, and self-righteous following.
