Kromo; //It's hard to do anything that's carbon- neutral given the way that our economies have developed.// That is absolutely true, but there is so much hypocrisy surrounding these jamborees, look at Paris, a huge multi- million dollar fiasco, with people flooding in from all over the planet, self-congrat ulating, virtue- signalling, and achieving...

A lot can be done. An awful lot.
It is natural occurrence to a certain position, but when you look at how the industrial revolution affected the climate and how it still is, then it is a cause for concern.
If it wasn't an issue, why would we be hearing of it being a big issue all the while?
the other way of thinking is "Lol lets do nothing let nature be nature lets see if we die".

Imagine if every diesel car was electric, imagine if every coal log burner could be replaced with eco friendly electric heaters with energy sourced from solar panels
That would be a HUGE difference, now imagine the other possibilities where we could become more eco and green.
We could have a massive impact but in reality people can't be bothered or they don't care.
Finances are the ultimatum for many also.

Do read the link provided, and listen to the embedded videos. This summary hits the nail on the head for me.
""Noting the extremely small contribution to greenhouse gases from human activity (just 0.28%), the poor correlation between temperature and CO2, the non-causality between CO2 and temperature, the significant correlation of solar irradiance with temperature, recent global cooling, and unconvincing IPCC climate model predictions - then the alarmist reports from the IPCC appear questionable. And the fact that these reports are accepted by the UN, EU, WTO and national bureaucracies as the basis of long-term political and economic decisions has led many to cry 'conspiracy'. They claim that the flawed concept of anthropogenic warming is being used by climate change talks to raise taxes and to bring about one-world government. Western governments now charge a climate change levy (CCL) (tax) on taxable commodities such as electricity, natural gas, liquid petroleum gas (LPG), coal and coal products. This adds an unnecessary burden on industry, commerce and agriculture:""
