Not a programme I watch because of who presents it, I suppose some may of course.
Well I’m sure Nigel Farage’s turn will come ...

The comments beneath that link are hilarious.
I’m sure you don’t mean you don’t watch because Dimbo presents it mamya :-)

I still remember Robin Day in the very first edition mocking the poor woman in the audience: “What have you got in that handbag!”. Those were the days. And now an actual WOMAN is going to present it? Gah!
i have up qt after i realised it was rigged, left wing bbc compliant
i call it the bbc creep, all things bbc programes dramas..multicultural
specially historic dramas programe, i know a bit about history..
let's be accurate, and itv does it know with commercials and dramas
inclusive...mmm, not reality
I think it's only fair to give Ms Bruce a chance Khandro, you may be surprised, unless you have already made up your mind.
I mean I watch it for the content (painful though it often is) , I don't watch it to view the presenter.
Fiona looks more like a GP, than a tv presenter!
I'm sure the fragrant Ms Bruce will give the BBC exactly what they want.
The rest of us can go whistle.
Well the upside is if she is doing qt she might not be reading the news as much
I've never thought of FB as anything other than a newsreader and presenter of Antiques Road show*

I don't see the left-wing bias that is often mentioned here.

*I almost put Acorn Antiques
Fiona Bruce can do no wrong.

Antiques Roadshow was, and still should be, about learning, (and btw, I know a lot about antique furniture) But the Beeb instead of employing a knowledgeable presenter in this key role, placed Ms Bruce who knew zilch. Their policy continues now in the political sphere.
She's there as a sort of referee, Khandro, not passing herself off as an expert on all things political. Neither does she pretend to be an antiques expert on AR. Take a chill pill for gawds sake.
Khandro, they have plenty of experts.

The lovely Fiona is employed as a presenter, not an expert.

Did you feel the same about Michael Aspel and Hugh Scully?
Condemned out of hand before she's had a chance to show what she can do in the job.

How typical of the biased pre-conceptions all too frequently displayed here.

She’s the senior citizen’s piece of top totty. She attracts people to programs because of that. Anyone who doesn’t understand how TV works is a bit out of touch.
I see from Wikipedia that Ms Bruce, who sounds like ahe knows a thing or two about
politics, keeps off social media because of the misogynistic abuse it is known for (which it is). Sensible but sad.

OK, I'll wait and see, but remember, you have been warned.

Zacs; // She’s the senior citizen’s piece of top totty.// Not this one's, I remain true to Anna Ford, - now she had a brain.
i don't watch QT any more, its well past the witching hour, but she could turn out to be a good presenter of the programme, give it time.
Don't forget Sue Lawley.
