//steg, the electorate doesn't elect Prime Ministers - it elects political parties.//

Yes I know that, but last election everyone new who would be prime minister if they voted Conservative party
Or even” knew”
Steg, Of course they did. What's your point?
we didn't vote for her at all, that was her party.
Emm I was answering your statement to me
emmie //we didn't vote for her at all, that was her party.//
So who did you think was going to be prime minister when you voted then ?
Well Tusk and co, although willing to discuss how to facilitate the UK in ratifying the agreement has said it can’t be renegotiated. They are meeting Thursday to specifically discuss preparing for NO DEAL.

Isn’t it about time we did the same and put this charade to bed?
steg, we knew who was going to be prime minister when we voted Conservative just as we knew who was going to be prime minister (well at least on the first two occasions) when we voted for Labour under Blair. I'll ask you again. What is your point?
How about a pragmatic solution......United Ireland?
cassa, //They are meeting Thursday to specifically discuss preparing for NO DEAL. //

Have they said that?
Ok I’ll bite, point to what?
Why are you telling us we knew who the Prime Minister would be?
Because we did know
I'm baffled by the term "unscheduled meeting on Thursday". If a meeting has been arranged, how can it be 'unscheduled'?
Steg, of course we knew but Conservative voters wouldn't have change their allegiance because of it. Why would they? I'm not at all sure what you're trying to say.
Yes Naomi. I’ll try to find it again but I got that from the bbc website.
About half way down.

European leaders were already due in Brussels at a summit on Thursday but Mr Tusk's spokesman said they would now meet specifically to discuss how to prepare for a no-deal scenario.
cassa, if I'm reading that right, Mrs May won't be party to that meeting. She'll continue to pursue her disastrous deal.
//I'm not at all sure what you're trying to say.//
That’s fine, I’m Scots, that’s quite normal ;)
Ahh, that explains it then. ;o)
