Have just read that the ex Lib Dem leader Paddy Ashdown has died age 77 following a short illness. Apparently he had been suffering from bladder cancer. RIP Paddy

Whatever Mr Ashdown was he was never a self opinionated,sanctimonious,pseudo intellectual boor pp. Unlike you he never had the time to feel sorry for his lot and probably would not of done so.

self opinionated - he wd. agree he didnt carry anyone else's opinions.

my opinion is that no one should recommend their wife to consult this man - but hey that is me - Husbands can do as they like. ["Dear so and so I saw this patient whilst she had a heavy per ....."]
