'send em back where they came from' - easy to say fender but not easy to do. How would you send someone back to somewhere where they wouldn't be accepted- just leave them on the planee going backwards and forwards?
Back to thread though, although I'm not a Trump fan I thope he can overcome the hurdles of those trying to stop him implemneting his election pledge. A bit like Brexit- I voted remain but no want to see our departure go ahead asap
//How would you send someone back to somewhere where they wouldn't be accepted//
More fatuous, glib, nonsense. Perhaps we could "fund" them to be illegal immigrants back to where they came from...……..well you started it. Why is the portion of the wall funded by Obama seen to be a good wall and the wall proposed by Trumps a bad wall? Will Trump block the proposed Democratic spending bill that is set at billions of dollars to funnel aid to overseas "humanitarian" causes and aid the thousands of illegal entrants through the Southern states border? Does Trump care if the threatened "legal" challenge to his state of emergency declaration goes all the way to the Supreme Court? Will the Democrats run on a promise to declare the Second Amendment a "national emergency" when they next have a POTUS? They are saying that they will! Will the Democrats really carry out the threat to remove Trump using an obscure "not fit to serve due to mental instability" clause just like the Soviets used to employ. Will Trump silence the FBI campaign conducted by the Clintons by exposing it as the fake Russian connection, that it looks more like every day, or will the FBI do a JFK? Get the popcorn this is going all the way to 2020.
//Remainextremists is a direct nod to Brextremist that the good and the great so love to use to portray those that simply want a proper Brexit.//
The thing is, though, 'Brextremist' and 'Remoaner' are both examples of a portmanteau, whereas 'Remainextremist' just looks like you keep forgetting to use the space bar. It isn't going to catch on.
He'll get the wall by hook or by crook.
Emergency Powers will mean some of it gets built, but, in future presidencies, that may mean they can call on emergency powers to get rid of guns for example.
I think he toys with fire and has a lot of people supporting him with blinkers on. That's just my opinion tho.
He's using drugs as an argument for building the wall. In the UK they manage to get drugs into prisons using drones. I'm sure, even if he gets the wall, it won't take them long to figure out a way to get drugs past it.
Haha^ Since part of the wall was built there are 30% fewer drug smuggling prosecutions, soooooo………..the wall is to blame? Just like during WW1 when steel helmets were introduced and hospitals reported a 150% increase in head injuries. The top brass recommended that we stopped using them. Gonna need one hell of a drone to get tons of drugs over the wall too.
Trump is a winner, not a loser, - of course he'll get the wall.
btw. It's not 'his' wall, it's America's wall, and it was started by other presidents before him, including Democrats.
Someone once said, "Good fences make good neighbours". Are you not glad the Britain has the water-wall of the Channel? It has saved us throughout history while other European countries have been overrun.
