I really don't understand his so say 'big point' about Berlusconi at 7.09.
Berlusconi resigned in pretty much disgrace (private life aside) because of the financial state of Italy under his watch and there were crowds of protesters, the Italian electorate, jeering him when he resigned. He now says he intends to stand for the European Parliament.
Anywhere, where the accepted practice is an elite in control, is a threat to the concept of democracy. One can just about bear it if the elite are selected by the people in elections, but when they are unelected, that's beyond the Pale.
The EU is simply not democratic and will only get worse. It is Germany achieving through stealth what it failed to do with 2 world wars. And the liberal elite love facilitating it, usually because their snots are deep in the trough. Shame on them.
It has nothing to do with Sir Nige of course - usual blustering and diversion attempts from those that dont want to answer the question.
