Has Monopoly turned out to be the most harmful boardgame ever made? It is constantly used for McDonalds promotions and yet another Monopoly scratchcard hit the checkouts this month.

I do my lotto on line and i occasionally played their Monopoly game. That is until, paying particular attention, i noticed that the dice landed on the same numbers twice in succession. Needless to say, both were losing games. I contacted Camelot to express my disappointment and they replied that as there were only an infinite number of 'outcomes', it wasn't unusual to see this occurrence. I replied that, had the first 6 rolls of the dice produced a really decent win, what would be the odds of the second 6 rolls being identical. They skirted that issue in their second reply, they ended by saying, "We hope this hasn't spoiled your enjoyment of playing the game." I told them i wouldn't be playing any of their instant win games ever again. And, of course, i haven't.
