I'd rather have him than Gove or Boris.
No problem with him, the best of a bad bunch.
I think we may finish up in the same situation as our American friends, getting the leader we dislike the least, rather than the one we want the most.
Andy that is why i liked the 123 vote. I would vote for 1, then 2, then 3, so yes, a majority may want 1, but a bigger majority may prefer 2 than 1.. and so on.

I may want one in, but if he's not, i'd rather 2 than 3 kind of voting.
'rather than the one we want the most.'

And who, pray, would that be?
gawd no!
No !
we haven't really seen enough of him in office to know how good or bad he'd be. But still nothing much seems to have happened at Grenfell Tower, for instance.

I've seen quite enough of Boris to know he'd be a shocking PM, duplicitous and dishonourable. I assume Grayling isn't even in the running, I hope?
Hope it's not going to be Amber Rudd.
If it is going to be another woman I think the favourite would be Andrea Leadsom.
"I've seen quite enough of Boris to know he'd be a shocking PM, duplicitous and dishonourable."

At least we will be knowing what we're getting and it won't be a surprise half way trough his term
Why not

He can be the 5th tory Prime Minister to be laid at the Brussells sacrificial altar
He wanted (and was) sworn into parliament on a copy of the Koran. Enough said.
No, but thanks for asking.
Most seem to have blotted their copybook along the way. Maybe if I investigated how each of them voted there may be a clue. That stated, my MP has voted (reasonably) sensibly all along and they're not in the running.

(Perhaps they can convince Farage to change parties and defect to the Tories.)
The Downing St cat would make a more honourable PM than Boris. Changing sides on the eve of the referendum sealed his fate as far as I am concerned; he very clearly has nothing but his own career at heart and cannot be trusted to act in the best interests of the nation.
I don't want any of the suggested 3 i would rather TM say where she is and that is saying something aint it.
I would rather TM stayed but if she goes I think Andrea Leadsom might be a good replacement but certainly don’t want Boris.
I hope and pray there is another independence referendum for Scotland. The thought of any of these people being in charge fills me with dread.
