By their own actions politicians have reduced this issue to a simple choice. The EU will never produce a deal that will command a majority in Parliament. It will either not meet the objectives of Brexit, will tie the UK to an arrangement from which it cannot withdraw or imposes intolerable conditions on the UK. I think Mr Letwin will be off a few Christmas Card lists.....
Calicogirl, //I think you'll find that Gulliver just disagrees with you (to 'weapons grade' proportions)- that doesn't make him a troll. //

"I think you'll find that Gulliver just disagrees with you (to 'weapons grade' proportions)- that doesn't make him a troll."

Whereas I think you will find you couldn't possibly be more wrong if you tried.
As I understand it Calicogirl is fluent in gobbledegook. That'll explain it.
By their own actions politicians have reduced this issue to a simple choice. The EU will never produce a deal that will command a majority in Parliament. It will either not meet the objectives of Brexit, will tie the UK to an arrangement from which it cannot withdraw or imposes intolerable conditions on the UK. (More probably all three of these and more). They will not do so because they know that the UK “must” have a deal. Extending A50 is a waste of time as the situation will not change.

So, MPs have a choice: agree to leave with No Deal or cancel A50. It’s as simple as that and has been since Mrs May’s appalling deal was first made public. It's time for the fannying about to stop. MPs may think their earning their wages but in fact their prevarication and ineptitude is becoming extremely tiresome.

^Yes.
Yes... but not unexpected, as they didn't seem to want it anyway. They are going by their own personal views, rather than the majority. Thankfully, most people seemed to vote for what they thought was best long-term, rather than what would be "quickest and easiest". It just makes them look even more incompetent, but is never going to change anyone's mind about it.

bang on judge, no deal or no brexit, they are the only two possible outcomes here.
We are almost at the point of Singularity: Brexiters now campaigning to Remain and the EU trying to force us out.
Meanwhile cue Monty Python music and nude Theresa May at the piano waving her WA and crying: “And now for something completely different - honest!”
