I'd have thought they all got into politics to change things, to at least have a chance of implementing their ideas. So why are they so willing to be subservient to a corrupt unelected foreign entity?

They rate the economy higher than sovereignty to such an extent that they are willing to sacrifice control of one's own nation in order to avoid a short setback to the economy. Lord only knows why they think that way. Maybe they think a period of less than economic boom will lose them more votes next GE than betraying the referendum and keeping their nation under EU elite control will.

Run an election in those MPs seats under the same rules, and you get exactly the same result. Most constituency elections are not a contest at all, they are a fraud. Between Labour and the Conservative the Constituencies have been gerrymandered to return a Labour or Conservative candidate, to such an extent, that Parliament is very unrepresentative of what people want.
There is talk of another General Election, but that would be pointless. The system is so corrupt, the same self serving useless imbeciles who are ruining the country today, would just get re-elected again.

'but whoever they may be they can be replaced' with whom? That just gets us back to my original question and proves you're delusional about the circumstances we find ourselves in, to wit, replacing one bunch of incompetents with another (potentially worse) bunch.

Perhaps you could explain how London voters in East Ham, can remove their MP, Stephen Timms*? Mr Timms voted last night for Common Market 2.0, for a Customs Union, which goes against the result of the EU Referendum. Tell me again how easy it is to remove him.
