But you can't just make stuff up - especially not extreme lies like saying he'd prefer soldiers to be dead over terrorists.

I stand by that. As I’ve said, he has to be pretty much frog marched like a naughty child to the Cenotaph and forced to don his Sunday best but will make a special effort to travel overseas and attend a wreath laying ceremony for Munich terrorists or invite the IRA to Parliament days after the Brighton bomb.
Not too difficult to realise whom he’d grieve most over, is it?

His attire and choice of poppy weren’t of the standard required, very much in contrast to his colleagues nor befitting of Her Majesty’s leader of the opposition(for which he was widely criticised) but really you already knew that ag.

Really? Just look at everything he’s done as a politician in respect to his attitude to the military and his cosying up with terrorists.

Not really a practical ideology for Leader of the Opposition I agree, but it doesn't mean he 'prefers British soldiers to come back in the Union flag.'

He's not a terribly popular politician in the country at large anyway, so it's not exactly unsurprising to see he's unpopular in the forces. More specifically, though, he's supported prosecution for people involved in Bloody Sunday and meets with extremely dubious people (incl. IRA and Islamists) out of a misguided and rather self-important sense of being a peace-broker. He's also been attacked far and wide in the press - sometimes perfectly legitimately, sometimes not-so-legitimately (e.g. his choice of coat or how deeply he nodded his head at the cenotaph).
Like I say, though, his popularity in the army isn't and shouldn't be important on this. This is not something soldiers should be doing. Evidently the army agrees, as they're investigating the incident and have called it an error of judgement.

Some Theatres are not all Act 1, scene 2 with an intermission. As they were in a different sort of Theatre that some here would fear to attend. These men are members of a highly disciplined Regiment. They are human and have a breaking point. To let off steam instead of cracking up with stress is a far better and harmless occupation but one a civilian could never understand.
