Surely no matter what your politics are, aligning yourself with Nazis is a bit brainless.
Do these young thugs (or ‘patriots’ as some have called them) need to be sat down with people who actually fought Nazis during WWII, or the families of Holicaust survivors to make them see sense?
I see the usual Deniers are at work, trying to invalidate the application of the label. My poor old Dad and his neighbours must be turning in their War Graves at this insidious invasion of these devious fifth columnists into our society. After giving their lives to rid Europe of the scourge of the Far Right. RIP real Tommy.

Great plan
I would of thought that young fit neo-nazi violent thugs are the last people aged Holocaust survivors and 90 year old war vets should meet.
Like feeding lambs to the slaughter. :-(
You can never underestimate the need for insecure young men to 'belong' - to give them a sense of security that they didn't have from their family upbringing.
This is the driving force of 'gang' culture, and unformed minds gravitate towards groups that they feel support their unformed views, and those views can be anything that offers a sense of direction in an otherwise directionless life.
Add ignorance, fear, and the desire for a sense of superiority, and hey presto - neo-Nazi-ism!
No, andy, what you mean is 'you can never OVERestimate the need for insecure men to belong'
Sorry to be picky, but I keep hearing similar on TV and radio: people who want to stress, say, how important something is saying 'you can't underestimate how important such-and-such is'. Yes you can, you can reckon it to be not very important - what they should say is you can't OVERestimate how important....
I do actually like folk from the Father land and I'd never tarnish them with the same brush as those idiots... I'm not suggesting you have... just saying.
it did happen. and as important to remember is that German society caused or allowed it to happen, even though the majority (as Arksided pointed out) weren't actually complicit themselves. Laurence Rees's land mark documentary "The Nazis - A Warning From History" is just as relevant today, and politicos from today's mainstream parties would do well to realise that the rise of extremism is as much to do with their (in)actions and holdg the eletorate in contempt, as as it is to do with shaven-headed no-necked thugs that champion the right wing cause.
Reminds me of a quote I saw online a while ago - someone who joins a terrorist group is like someone who hires the Mafia to guard their house because they're afraid of being burgled.
The trouble is that so many people are now being branded as “Nazis”, “No better than Nazis” or “Worse than Nazis” that the term has somewhat lost its impact. The insult is usually levelled at people whose only crime is to hold a different opinion to those “on message”. The latest group to receive such a slur are those seeking a proper Brexit. They have been promoted in some quarters from “Extremists” to “Nazis”. It doesn’t help when the term is really needed or warranted.
As an aside, I do like the way the face of the babe-in-arms has been pixelated out to protect its identity. Considering all babies of that age look absolutely identical they may have protected it more if they’d have left its image untouched!
Maybe it is true what NJ is saying, but that's completely irrelevant to the question of why Neo-Nazis -- as in people who literally walk around making Nazi salutes, wearing swastikas, and having pictures of Goebbels in their bedrooms -- exist.
Can't see any Swastikas on display, but quite a few Union Jacks and St George's flags and I even spotted a Welsh flag.
No they are not Neo-Nazis that is just a description that they have been labelled with by the Left, who obviously don't care about what is happening in their country.
/// it is to do with shaven-headed no-necked thugs that champion the right wing cause. ///
That just about sums it up, the left wing can champion as many causes as they like, but when it comes to right wing causes, they are definitely a no, no in their eyes.
