I am extremely happy for the Royal couple and their new arrival. I recall feeling the same as Prince Harry whenhe gave his short arrival notice at Royal Mews Windsor.
I apprciate it's Meghans baby but what I dislike,if true, are the almost 'Diva like' demands to stray from Royal protocol and the intrigue and secrecy. At the end The birth was not at Frogmore Cottage as first reported but was at,believed,the Portland Hospital , London where she was taken the previous evening. I bet the Royal physician was in attendance as well. Why not be more open. They are not the first to have a baby in the Royal family. Why the mystery?

Perhaps they requested privacy because they don't want to be paraded like a royal brood mare in front of the Worlds cameras - they are entiltled to some privacy after all

Of course they are but the Duchess of Sussex will soon have to reconcile herself that she will rarely get it. It goes with the title.

Prince Harry receives a stipend from the Duchy of Cornwall, and has a private income from a bequest from the Queen Mother. he does not benefit from the civil list, and receives nothing from official government sources.

mushroom, I have read though that the renovations to their home have been heavily funded by the taxpayer so they're not entirely cost-free.
