Didn’t take them long: You get 4 days for voting Lib Dem. Abusing a Jew on social media and it’s 4 years not counting appeals ;-)

I hear what you are saying Ich, but put yourself in the position of COB's main followers (not traditional labour supporters). I strongly suspect they will be right behind it.
I’m sure he’ll be back in the fold soon enough.

Either that or he will join the Lib Bems.
It seems the treachery goes on, as much as I disagree with agent COB and all his extremist people and policies, he has a right to expect some loyalty. I agree he should be expelled.
Hmm maybe ymb: but like I said earlier many of them almost certainly did the same thing as AC and deserted the party and so they can’t really say much.
Putting it bluntly, expelling Alistair Campbell is probably not going to win them any extra votes. Are there very left wing voters out there boycotting Labour still because of Alistair Campbell? Unlikely I’d say.
They’ve haemhorraged votes largely in the other direction most recently.
....sorry forgot to add, Tarzan should be similarly give the order of the boot from the Tories.
Did Mark Francois amongst others vote Tory last week? I wonder now :-)
TBH, Campbell, Blair, Mandy et al were not actually Labour anyway, they realised that Labour are un electable and nicked the Tories clothes.
Personally I don't see why being a member of a political party should mean you're not allowed to vote for anyone else. - or rather, you're not allowed to tell anyone that you voted for someone else.

After all, he doesn't hold a senior position in it and It's not like they're paying him to be a member. He's paying them.
"Personally I don't see why being a member of a political party should mean you're not allowed to vote for anyone else" - ludders, it's like being in a football team and scoring for the opposition.
I’m a Labour supporter, but sometimes tactically vote for other parties. Is he not allowed to do the same?
Voting also is secret: it’s entirely up to whether the individual whether he divulged it. You’ll never be found out. Therefore Campbell is bring punished for admitting it, not actually doing it.
// ludders, it's like being in a football team and scoring for the opposition. //

He's not on the team, he's just a season ticket holder that cheered for the opposition in protest at the current manager's useless tactics and results.
Was that Philip Hammond I heard saying other day he might vote against the government in a No Confidence vote?
He’s the Chancellor or something isn’t he?
Either way I hope the two main parties are not confused as to why no one votes for them these days.
yes ich, in the HOQ anything seems to go because the PM can ill afford to take the whip from them.
He did not need to divulge any information, he did. A man of principals
He is guilty of humiliating the Party.
As if they can’t do that well enough by themselves ;-)
ich: "Voting also is secret:" - please! PMSL! in this case he disclosed it but they can tell how all of us voted if they want to.
I repeat: it’s a secret vote.
Although the prospect of Corbyn’s Stasi led by Herr Milne hoking around old ballot papers is an intriguing one ...
none of our elections are secret. They give you a paper with a number on it, that number is by your name on the sheet, they can retrieve that paper at any time and see how you voted.
That may be so (haven’t we had all this before) but the point is: no one will know how you vote unless someone decides to investigate: and why would they do that ...
