Brave Men ??
Saw on BBC news tonight, 4 men attacked 2 gay women and apparently have been arrested. Nothing much to say except aren't they brave ? The words I would like to use are not printable !!

With the greatest respect (and I do mean that), that is the problem with what you are discussing and proposing Danny/ Retro etc. You cannot judge what will happen by what would have happened when you were in the army/ Police/ wherever relevant, because that was a very long time ago and that world does not exist anymore, so you cannot expect the same results to occur, if indeed for the most part it ever did work- there were plenty f thugs around who did National Service. It's like expecting today's parents to rear their kids the same way you were,however good that was, it's not possible now because virtually everything is different. x

This is a frightening article and will explain why the armed forces can no longer achieve their aim for 'all' to eventually gel and become a disciplined team. Recruits can question authority and buck the system these days . :-(
