Sometimes the reaction can be quite sudden......takes a little while for all that to settle......
Then of course there is the leaking breastmilk...... and socialising with that worry is difficult.
Maybe there was something on the menu or the guest list that could cause those hormones to react and she was wise to stay away for the comfort of other guests and not to upset the Queen?

There is a lot of truth an anneasquith's dig......today will be a lot less strenuous than attending an 'official' meet 'n' greet. And it is a good way of easing herself back into her 'duties'. The resumption of which will, I am sure, provide both the DM and AOG with plenty of opportunities to snipe from the sidelines.
