The Naked Bike Ride is not a solely naturist event, it started as a protest ride to draw attention to various causes, the vulnerability of cyclists in London being one. It has since grown to take in many venues and causes worldwide one of them being the promotion of naturism as an acceptable public activity.

Yes but they're not banned AOG, they were voluntarily withdrawn because they are no longer very socially relevant.

Indecent Exposure was known,in the Met, as a WOLO offence with intent. :-)
There were certain ingredients to the statute which had to be proved by the arresting officer to justify a charge
The act had to W ilful - O penly- L ewdly - O bscenely expose oneself with Intent to cause offence to a female.
The office had to ask such questions as to: erect or not, manipulation, any words said to the complainant. ' Cop your peepers on this lady,nice and hard' whilst masturbating would secure an arrest. I hope my explanation has'nt offended any ladies on the site or elsewhere.
