Instead of hand wringing and allowing the EUSSR to shaft us, should we just accept no deal and prepare for it as best we can in the remaining time?

You don't need to be a politician, just have a grasp of common sense, to know that the EU were always going to play hard ball from Day One of the negotiators, how could they do any other? To roll over and accept Britain's exit is to start a domino effect which would see the EU collapsing within five years, they were always going to make it as hard as they could to set an...

//… every one would have known what they were voting for …//
Yes, they gave it much consideration.
I read recently that some voted leave so they would be able to use non-energy saving light bulbs.
And a presenter on LBC said someone had phoned in to say he voted leave so 'he wouldn't have to see black faces at the checkout in Tesco.'

It's the easiest thing in the world to zero in on some extremist numpty who gave a soundbite to back up the 'Remain' point of view - but that does not invalidate the vote, or the result.

The argument that voters were ignorant of any 'deal' when the voted is entirely spurious, and the sort of nonsense the Remainers love to spout.
History will show that the electorate voted on a straightforward question - Do you wish to leave the EU - yes or no?
It really couldn't be much simpler than that - so where they get the 'people didn't understand … ' garbage from is anyone's guess.
The simple fact is, no 'deals' were available at the time, because negotiating a deal could only ever begin if there was a vote to leave, otherwise what would anyone be 'dealing' about?
To say that the electorate did not understand the 'deal' is simply not true - there was no 'deal' - the vote was to leave or not, the rest is about the terms of departure, not whether we leave or not, that has been decided - remember? There was a vote???
