Whilst one Left-Wing comedian can suggests the throwing of acid instead of milkshakes.
Woe betide a Right-Wing comedian if he dares to state that the present Mayor of London has 'f***** up' his home town.
Yes out comes their Race Card once again, where is the racism in that?

I have every right to comment on race, even more so, me being an elderly white man you understand?
I have lived in era when our country was almost a totally White Christian country.
That was before WW2 when thankfully the Americans came into the war.
Yes and would you believe it that both white and Black Americans were not fully taken to the hearts of the population at that time, 'over here and overpaid was the cry' and going off with 'our boy's' wives and girlfriends, it was the money and the free nylons that attracted some of our less virtuous females.
But it was also the mixture of cultures that was alien to our British culture and lifestyle.
When the war ended and most of our visitors had gone back home taking with them their 'GI Brides' the country reverted back to the British way of life, until of course when the time came and the Jamaicans arrived on a permanent and regular basis.
Their culture and lifestyle was again completely alien to us just the same as was the Gypsies etc, yes it seems almost horrific now, but some did put up those racist notices 'No Blacks, No Gypsies, No Irish, No dogs.
The word Racism had not been invented in those days, people were just naturally concerned, as are some against the rise of Islam today, when that other word was invented, Islamophobic.
Perhaps we should now be concerned about those that still put up notices 'No Dogs' perhaps we should now invent a word such as Dogophobic to describe these dog haters?

An admirable discourse, perhaps a bit overlong and ranty, and off the thrust of the thread, but still, never mind.
// I have every right to comment on race, even more so, me being an elderly white man you understand? //
I wouldn't disagree for a second - which is probably why I didn't say that you don't have that right.
If you want to slug it out with me about things I have said, then by all means bring it right on - but do me a favour, don't attack and then lecture me for a post that is not mine.
You need to refer your diatribe to Zacs, it was his post at 14:24 that mentioned your observations about race - so go and whine at him why don't you.

The boss has told us to stick to the thread, so perhaps your kind words to Rockrose isn't appropriate in the news thread, best placed in chatterbox. //
The boss has not said anything yet, it's the weekend, and she is not normally online - but if she returns on Monday, and closes this thread for off-topic sniping and fight-picking, I am sure you will be happy to accept your share of the responsibility.

Are you denying that it was you who put this in your 14.28 post?
/// AOG's exhortations to bring back 'Chalky White' shows that he clearly did not understand racism them, and he clearly doesn't understand it now. ///
/// 100% PROOF YOU HAVE NO BUSINESS COMMENTING ON MATTERS OF RACE. ///
I must apologise.
I cut and pasted Zacs post in order to refer to it, and I inadvertently left in the last sentence, which is why it appears at the end of my post.
I did not intend to include it, because I don't agree with it - I believe in your right to comment on anything a everything you wish - and this sentence appears to be my view, when I can categorically state that it is not.
Again my apologies for the confusion.

Blimey no need to copy and paste every word of my thread, especially when you went out of your way to criticise it for being 'a bit over long and ranty, and off the thrust of the thread'. //
I cut and paste every post to which I reply - it avoids anyone switching between the two to see what I am talking about, and it negates the need to put "That was to …" if a post comes up between the original and my response.
