Whilst one Left-Wing comedian can suggests the throwing of acid instead of milkshakes.

Woe betide a Right-Wing comedian if he dares to state that the present Mayor of London has 'f***** up' his home town.

Yes out comes their Race Card once again, where is the racism in that?

baza; //I do however miss the scanty clad adverts on the underground.//
(My post at 10:53)

Not far from the National Gallery runs the London Underground stations of Charring Cross and Leicester Square, Sadiq Khan having removed the bikini clad posters, would, given free reign, no doubt liked to remove Velasquez's Venus and all the other nude pictures and have them burnt in Trafalgar Square to stop them corrupting Muslim sensibilities.
That would only hold true if you didn't understand the reasons behind removing the adverts Khandro.
Last Summer, President Trump said 'Khan has done a very bad job of terrorism and a bad job of crime' in a long running feud.

I think JD's comments will blow over.

Which in your opinion were?
I would also like to know the reason or reasons why they were removed.
Certainly, I was premature in thinking everyone had read about it at the time.

Reading what apologists said either now or at the time has nothing to do with the real motivation behind his action. It was a cowardly attempt to activate Sharia principles in London under the pretence that
it was purely on the agenda of feminism.
Interesting. This appears to be yet another case of being offended upon behalf of others. This relatively recent fad has been the topic of many discussions on this site in the last few weeks.
Oh hecky thump Khandro , have a strolled into the trap after after all, you knew the reason and set me on a fool's errand so you could shoot it down.

Who'd have thought it :-)

Could you not tale little picture books on your travels?
I knew exactly what you were going to say, mamya, if you returned to the thread. I nearly answered for you.
Dash it, I'm getting predictable.
getting?
Charming, hurt to the quick.

Interesting - you ask Mamya what, in her opinion was the reason, and then state your own opinion as though it is a fact.

It is only your opinion, and not provable by you or anyone else.
I agree with Zacs
No, Jim Davidson wasn't racist. Khan’s first action was to remove those inoffensive images, not I would have thought, the most urgent priority. That was done for the purpose of sending an immediate message to the Muslim community confirming the whereabouts of Khan’s loyalties … in my opinion.
Naomi - // That was done for the purpose of sending an immediate message to the Muslim community confirming the whereabouts of Khan’s loyalties … in my opinion. //

Since, by his own admission, Mr Khan is not a practising Muslim, why would he be interested in courting their favour, and in view of his absence of faith, why would they be interested in giving it?
//by his own admission, Mr Khan is not a practising Muslim//

Oh, is that what he says? Righto.
I think you're wrong, Andy. According to Wiki he is a practising Muslim:

"Khan is a practising Muslim who observes the fast during Ramadan and regularly attends Al-Muzzammil Mosque in Tooting"
At 1818, "...why would they be interested in giving it?" (their favour). Obviously they were interested in giving it...They voted him into office.
