Why some people publicly make statements without a shred of proof is barmy.

They leave themselves wide open to legal challenge.
He may have apologised but i wouldn't be surprised if it turned out he was right.
Spath, careful now...
George Cottrell is in a fundraising position for the brexit party. His history is known, and not liked.
Do we know who George is?
Spath, //We hear, from a reliable source, that Nigel #Farage could be facing Criminal Charges within 6 weeks//

That was published on 3 March. It is now 18 June – some three plus months on. Their source isn’t that reliable then. Smoke without fire does occur – especially when attempts are made to ignite damp squibs.
you focused on one point from the whole article. The article provides a lot more info than that tweet from some random guy.
you can tell a lot about someone from the company they keep. Farage seems very close with George Cottrell and Aaron Banks. Very odd. What's even odder is Farages apparent naivety to his mates activities.
//especially when attempts are made to ignite damp squibs.//

Very true Naomi.
spath, but it's not some tweet from a random guy. According to them it's information from a 'reliable source'.
Spath //you can tell a lot about someone from the company they keep. //

Jeremy Corbyn springs readily to mind....
^Indeed.
This thread is not about Corbyn. Using corbyn as a scape goat for any politician is futile.

"According to them it's information from a 'reliable source'."

Yeah, according to some random guy it's from the HMRC. Some random guy said it so it must be true? I think not.

However, the company farage keeps is undeniably shady. And should be the focus point regarding money laundering comments.
Expensive grapes - folk should operate brain before opening their mouth.
//Using corbyn as a scape goat for any politician is futile. //

Your words not mine...

Spath, //Yeah, according to some random guy it's from the HMRC. Some random guy said it so it must be true? I think not.//

That makes no sense. You’ve posted a link in support of your opinion telling us 'there's no smoke without fire' – but you don’t believe what you’ve posted. Perhaps you ought to have a little think about that... or better still, a big think.
//However, the company farage keeps is undeniably shady. //

Are you making this up as you go along Spath?

What about his views on the twists and turns of UKIP after he stood down? Dare I mention it, Tommy Robinson...
