I knew someone who had an Electric car ! They had rigged up a charging point to the street light outside their house ! All went well for a good while , until there was a fault with the house electricity supply , but NOT the street lights ! The Electric board workmen came round and saw the car plugged into the Street lights ! They got a bill for £60 which was what the Electric Board estimate of the power used was !
They paid up , but grumbled about it! Later they did there own estimate based on their own better!, knowledge, came up with a figure of £350 !!!
