Tommy Robinson is not an investigative journalist.
At best he is a social commentator using the medium of any social platform from which he is not currently banned.
He has not uncovered any gangs of predatory sexual groomers and abusers; he has not ferreted out the the identity of, or facilitated the arrests of, any rapists nor personally assisted in the saving or recovery any of the innocent victims.
He has stood in front of the Court Building where a prosecution is already taking place of abusers, groomers and rapists and inserted himself into those proceedings. And for what end?
In which way did his 'broadcast' help the cause of Justice? It very nearly caused the trial to collapse.
People need to stop letting their admiration of Tommy Robinson, in the wider world, stop colouring their view of his stunt outside Leeds Crown Court.

If the media did its job properly (and especially Broadcast Media) Tommy Robinson would have no role to play.
Unfortunately, the judiciary wants to keep these cases out of the public eye. And that suits TV News, which has ignored the subject as much as it decently can (although we'll usually get a brief summary in regional injects).
The media and the judiciary are fortunate, because middle-class professionals (who, collectively, bear the responsibility for the cover-up) don't enjoy being reminded of their failings.
That said, they can't get enough of Tommy Robinson - it's a tricky balance!
