What is the root cause for this? Surely, Nicola's Government is not a reason to revert to funny substances......

Just been on the news again. Glasgow is on the third generation of some families with drug related problems and they said that those taking drugs are getting younger and even children are dying.
The worst drugs related deaths in Europe and even more than America. Serious problem getting out of control and reaching epidemic levels. Glasgow has got over the knife/gun related problem but looks like this is an even bigger one.

You're right Toorak it is awful. Some action needs to take place, such as rehabilitation clinics and centres where people can ease of drugs and take them in a safe and controlled environment but more importantly offered a clean substance.

I note the SNP Health Minister directs the blame at Westminster's door tonight on ITV News at Ten. Perhaps,instead of crowing that the NHS prescriptions are free to all at the expense of the Barnett formula and tax payers in England the NHS Scotland should have directed our largesse to their drug problem first and let the Scot's pay prescription charges as we do. Very bad Health and financial husbandry and how will Sturgeon deal with it should she get her wish for devolution.No use going begging,cap in hand to Europe, they will not want to know Scoltland's problems and any loans that the EU hands out comes at a price.Sturgeon should take resposibility for her own country's ills.
