It is life. Life with a minimum of 32 years. That means she might or might not be released after 32 years, and will definitely not be released before then. It also means that if she is released, she'll be "on licence" and can be recalled to jail at any time.

Taking her life style into consideration, it is a wonder she didn't have more.

If she didn't want the children, because they interrupted her life style, why did she prevent the father from having access to them.
