Once again we try to find rational reasons for irrational behaviour, and sadly, the short answer is - there are none.
This is not the act of a rational mind - that can be stated with certainty.
The reasons around that irrationality remain to be revealed, but trying to analyse this rationally gets us nowhere except upset, so we have to sympathise, but not dwell, which helps no-one.

Police are investigating whether the teenager escaped from the secure unit or managed to get free of one of his carers. A teenager has now been charged with attempted murder and will appear at Bromley Youth Court today. \\
