I don't.

If a riot happens or not, i'm opposed to martial law.
An 'anonymous source' told me it's all BS.
Neither do I. In fact I don't think too much of any lasting significance will occur at all. The country should always be ready to quell civil disobedience, whatever the cause. If it occurs on 1st November (assuming the UK leaves the EU) it will be because a number of people, unused to not having their own way, will be disappointed. But they'll soon get over it.

Do you not remember the London riots?
//If a riot happens or not, i'm opposed to martial law.//

I'm not too fond of it myself. But what is the government to do if large numbers of people misbehave and prevent others going about their lawful business? Reverse Brexit to keep them happy?

I do. I worked in Central London at the time of the protests against the Community Charge (aka "Poll Tax). What has that to do with the price of fish?
Those in 'the smoke' can do the rioting.....the rest of us will content ourselves with folding our arms and tutting....
OMG ,Baldric will be C/O and Retro as 2/IC, Gawd Help Us all, " Switch the lights of please"
I think there is more likelihood of riots occurring if there isn't a Brexit.
But don't lets play into the hands of project scare. We already have fools stockpiling don't we.
Lol yes that’s right.
Riots if ... nothing happens.

I thought these contingency plans had been leaked several months ago. It sounds familiar
Been spoken of for a couple of years - OP link is from January 2019.
Im more concerned that a lot of these democracy hating mostly leftie remainers from the top, establishment level, all the way down will turn their efforts into becoming "saboteurs"...and will do everything and anything to try and bring the country down, just so they can say "told you so, brexit would be a disaster"...
its been plainly obvious since day one when they they lost a fair, legal and democratic vote and threw their toys out of their collective prams and started jumping up and down and stamping their feet at not getting their own way that they are more than happy to cut their noses off to spite their faces...
Ah thanks Mamya I should have looked more closely.
It’s the same story.
You see, Boris Johnson was a visionary. He could have had those three water cannons after all but they were sold for scrap for £300k.

Ah well, such is life...
I tend to agree with retrocop 16.27 and also jackthehat 16.15. Bereft Remainers may rend garments, wail, hold riotous protest marches etc., etc. and politicians will spout about another Referendum. The rest of the country will just get on with it. My sister, as I posted somewhere, runs a small garage and she will be uncorking the champagne because the uncertainty is what is seriously affecting the business. She'd be more than happy to be told we will be out of the EU by the end of August and she tells me that other small businesses feel the same.

Have no fear. Saint Doris will save us all from Hell .
Wah ha ha ha ha
Just get remoaners unhappy with the inconvenience changecfor the .better temporarily brings.
Is that the riot of the remainers all crying into their EU flag hankies and taking to the streets to ‘prove’ it’s a disaster?
Why are you posting about an unsubstantiated report for January ?
