Ummmm//Who said it did?//

Spath implied it.
//I'm saying her learning difficulties impacted her climbing abilities and her swimming abilities.//
Yes Spath I've always thought it odd. That's why I've posted the last couple of bits of news about the case.
I want her parents to insist on an inquest and to have another PM done when they are back in London. As I have said previously and wanted to say before I actually did, abduction of a young girl doesn't sit well with the tourist trade. The open window could be where an abductor broke in and possibly left with her through the door??
Retro apparently her brain was smaller than a normal brain and she was incapable of making or taking a phone call. I wonder if she was physically impaired in any way? Be interesting to hear what her parents have to say about the swimming bit.
Ken enlightened me i guess.

My needs would be to assist my thoughts on the subject.
She had "special needs" and a severe learning difficulties
I want to know what floor of the hotel they stayed on.
The window could have been open because of the heat.
If she was in that jungle for 7 days less than 1.6 miles from the hotel dogs, helicopters or volunteers would have found her easily. She wouldn't have been quick, or strong to be ablt to take hard routes.

Anyone who doesn't suspect foul play is either really convinced on certain facts or has no idea what a rain forest is like in the slightest... or a helicopters ability to find a suspect.
Spath
It has been written they attended the P.M. after the body was found.
It says nothing about attending the alleged murder scene and gathering evidence.
//I understand her parents having misgivings about the outcome of the PM but it was observed by a National Crime agency officer as well as Irish and French police//
Yes, send the British police , they are fantastic at solving everything. Look how they solved the maddy mc cann disappearance .
Retrocop -

Is that in response to my answer regarding the British police?

If so, OK. I knew they were involved but not at which stages.
The open window was downstairs.

Lol aa
Any idea how long after Maddies disappearance were the McAnns requesting for British police to assist. Long enough to have every clue and piece of forensic evidence trampled over and destroyed by every man and his death dog in Portugal. That is why, if you bothered to read rather than snipe,I suggested if any request is made for police in the UK it is sooner rather than later. The British police more or less just had to search for a body as any helpful clues had long gone months previously.
Interesting. Maybe the window was so big and low down Nora thought it was the front door.
"Any idea how long after Maddies disappearance were the McAnns requesting for British police to assist. "

I'm sure it was over a year...
My understanding is that they were not in a hotel but in a chalet of some sort, Nora was downstairs and the parents slept upstairs
no it was three!!! three years later!! The met got involved.

They had no chance.
'Less than 1.5 miles' from the hotel? How come the searchers missed her?----- What if she had previously wandered off in another direction and then some time afterwards made her way back to the spot where she was eventually found. Everyone seems to be assuming that she just made her way to the waterfall ,stayed there ten days and then died in that place.
I read yesterday somewhere that Nora was sleeping upstairs with her two siblings, might be on one of my links. The open window was downstairs.
"What if she had previously wandered off in another direction and then some time afterwards made her way back to the spot where she was eventually found. "

Then even more chance to be found in my honest opinion, as she was in more than once place. Also if she was a lone moving entity, a helicopter or dog would have picked that up right away.
The jungle where she was found is apparently very dense making it difficult for a helicopter to see any movement
