According to the BBC she's only on the verge of standing down as leader. Plus it doesn't mean she's getting out altogether.

Must be a difficult role, needing to be a remainer to get the local support/votes, yet knowing that means slinging away principles to support the nation's democratic decision, and the Tories, and by such dissent messing up chances for the nation to negotiate deals favourable to it.

Probably best left to someone else.

Under her leadership the Scottish Tories recovered. Be careful what you wish for in celebrating her departure. And as someone who fought, and continues to fight, so hard to preserve the Scottish-English Union, then there's yet another reason to mourn her leaving.
