The thing everyone on both sides seems to be losing sight of in the wild clamour to have their own way is that each and every person has a right, and in fact a duty, to do what they consider right for the country, and that includes Remainers. I still hold that leaving the EU will be catastrophic economically, socially and will lead to unprecendented hardship for...

Peaceful protest marches? Fair enough, although to be honest I've never really seen the point myself. If I'm going to get pointlessly angry I'd rather do that from the comfort of my own home.

But Civil Unrest? Please no.
Not a chance, Boris has done the right thing.
No thanks, I'll give it a miss.
Funny how after three years Remainers have suddenly discovered the word 'democracy'. They hadn't a clue what it meant before. :o)
Yes I'll pass as well. I don't do civil unrest but I suggest you look up what prorogation of Parliament is and how often it happens before you take to the streets with your pitchfork.
You must be kidding!
I presume you think the actions of Swindon, Corbyn, etc are democratic. Unbelievable!
It's raining, no.
Why is this in 'news'?

I fail to see what is undemocratic about his actions.
What 'Undemocratic Behaviour ' would that be ?
^Maybe that's why diddlydo's call to action has turned out to be a damp squib.
Even if your mum lets you go it isn't really news, is it.

Clearly only the brexiters have responded to this call to arms - too thick to understand the ludicrous implications of BJ's actions.
As a Brexit supporter...
There you go. Diddlydo is encouraging civil unrest ..... and anyone who disagrees with her is thick. :o)
What's democratic about civil unrest?
The Remainers won't join in as they'll be eating dinner at the dining table.

There is a petition demanding something about not letting parliament being prorogued.
(pathetic!)
How is he being undemocratic?
We live in a Parliamentary Democracy, do we not? Shutting down Parliament (for longer than just the conference season) at a critical time for the country at the very least hits at that principle -- and then having the cheek to lie that it's purely about introducing a new Queen's Speech, rather than taking time away from MPs to shape the Brexit debate.

But responding with calls for Civil Unrest is pretty low and shameful.
If the traitors at parliament have delivered Brexit as we the people voted for in 2016 we would be out and enjoying our freedom and lots trade deals inside and outside Europe well done Boris get on with the job that British people voted for. Remainders cry as much as you want!!
Yes... I'm not taking that part literally... how is it undemocratic though, to pause the people who don't like democracy?
