Benefits Of Brexit?

Can anyone give some illustrations of what benefits Brexit - with and without a deal - the average British citizen will hopefully notice and enjoy when it goes ahead?

Because brexit has no certain benefits. We're not even sure (after how many years?) if we'll leave with or without a deal. The whole thing is a mess and I think people are a bit tired of discussing all the hypothetical pie in the sky ideologies and promises / impacts.

But surely all those on here joyous with the prospect of Brexit could have offered some positive examples to back up those feelings.

No because they talk the talk but they're clueless... you know, just like the politicians who actually are involved in the process.

Let's just concentrate on No Deal (because leaving with a "deal" will inevitably negate some or all of these advantages):

The UK will no longer be subject to the jurisdiction of the ECJ.

The UK will no longer be compelled to allow people from the remaining EU nations to work and settle here.

The UK will no longer pay around £12bn pa for "free" trade with the EU.

The UK will no longer be compelled to collect tariffs (set by the EU an not always in the UK's best interests) on its imports.

The UK will be able to negotiate trade deals on its own behalf.

Will that do for a start?

The main benefit to me is that it will show that the democratic process works because the referendum result will be implemented. I'd prefer a deal but it's pretty unlikely as after 2-3 years no-one has come up with a deal which would be acceptable to Parliament and the EU are hardly likely to make major concessions now, so No Deal seems the only way forward.
I wish the original referendum result had been Remain but it wasn't and we need to respect that.

The question didn't ask for any. It asked for "benefits".

I'm sure there will be a few negatives. But the 93% of the world's population that is not in the EU seems to manage quite nicely so I'm sure we'll survive.

From my understanding, one of the main reasons leavers voted to Brexit the EU was to stop the flow of illegal/legal immigrants from entering the UK. Will it though?

With a deal it will depend on the deal.

Without a deal we still regain sovereignty, the right to make our own rules via our government without bring overruled, and the right to trade the world over on terms agreed with trading partners without EU interference, and we will be able to consider ourselves a proper nation again the very minimum we need to have a normal nation, which we presently lack now. That'll do for starters, although this has all been discussed many times before. I suspect it's only brought up again so remainers have the opportunity to pretend that there is nothing, because they choose to be deaf and blind to answers given to this question.
