Why are reporters & interviewees suddenly using those ridiculous pink blobby face mics - what happened to the unobtrusive lapel mics?

Will they persist in December when freezing rain could be adding to the ambiance?

"A regular coterie of burly white men", eh?
What has the colour of their skin got to do with it, how racist is that?

What Bercow said (taken from another report) was, "“There seems to be a pattern here of a regular coterie of burly white men who are effectively targeting and denouncing members whom they recognise and dislike – most notably female and those from ethnic minority backgrounds.”"
His description of the men as "white" is reasonable since he was pointing out the targets were notably female and from ethnic minority backgrounds and there appears to be a racist element to those attacks.

Whoops AMBIENCE, almost as bad as the "so" rule.

/// It came a day after Tory MP Anna Soubry was called a Nazi and taunted by a mob chanting "liar, liar" during a TV interview on College Green. ///
January 9th old news it would seem.
But all politicians are open for verbal abuse, why should Anna Soubry be expected to be treated any differently by the Nasty Left? Hasn't Boris Johnson been called a fascist and President Trump much worse?
I see no evidence whatsoever, to prove that Ethnic Minority politicians have been racially abused, by Burly White Men.

'Two protestors who called Anna Soubry MP a Nazi, a traitor and a fascist have been sentenced today (22 July).
James Goddard, 30, and Brian Phillips, 55, accepted that they talked to the Nottinghamshire MP as she walked to and from the Houses of Parliament on 7 January but claimed that their behaviour had been reasonable.
At their trial on Friday 19 July they changed their pleas and admitted causing her harassment, alarm or distress.
Goddard also admitted a second offence of racially abusing a police constable who he swore at and said was “not even British” because he spoke English with an accent.'
Given that one of them racially abused a policeman, it is not difficult to believe MPs were also targets due to their ethnicities.
