I can't emphasise enough just how much evidence and consensus there is that No Deal will be damaging, no matter the scale, in the short and long term. It would be the height of irresponsibility to ignore those warnings and use the suicide threat as some kind of phoney negotiating tactic.
Jim, I think Leadsom was hinting that the rebels may be forgiven if they vote with the government tommorrow but that seems unlikely given their determination to thwart the process. I suspect though that the explusions will start after tommorrows vote just in case they can throw off their Quisling tendencies.
One can not avoid what is the only option left. Plus refusing it as a possibility before the deadline ensures nothing will progress. The "damage" referred to is simply the cost and as such, fine. Therefore responsible and nothing to do with suicide threats. The real damage is keeping the nation in Limbo.

As far as I can see, TTT and I don't agree on much, but we *do* at least agree to engage with each other with mutual respect. I'll thank you to keep out of it, then, Naomi. I'm pretty sure he's read, and disagreed with, hundreds or thousands of my Brexit-related posts in the past, given that he also replies to a lot of them.
