PS, it's subjugated not subjected, do keep up.
Does our Islamophile friend who loves to see women forced to wear dustbin bags know the legal penalties imposed on women who dress "immodestly" in some Muslim countries?

No, he doesn't.

Does he know the unofficial punishments unscarved women can suffer - like having acid thrown in their faces?

No, he doesn't know that either.

In fact our friend knows absolutely nothing about the fascist ideology called Islam at all.

Bit moot the word we’re focusing on is “willingly”
Question Author
V_E yea i do.. don’t assume i’m ignorant to what some women have to deal with simply because i’m raising a voice for those who want a choice.

You couldn’t get more naive or ignorant

Spath
Just asking. Is English your first language and were you bullied and called a towel head at school ?
Having lived and worked in West London for over thi
rty years I know far more Muslims than you do, Spath.

I do not attack Muslims (whom I treat exactly the same as everyone else I meet); I attack Islam.
spath, //I'm not going to debate with someone who is set on their opinion though, what's the point?//

You're set in your opinions ... even though you offer nothing substantial to support them.

Naomi i don’t need to provide proof that not all muslims rape young girls.. jhee.
spath, no one said all Muslims rape young girls.
Spath, please see my post at 10.16 Friday
I find it interesting that when somebody is so patently wrong in their assertions, such as spath on this thread, they're very quick to wave the racist card - it's a very cheap tactic that signals a lost argument.

Finding the burka ridiculous is about as racist as finding a catholic wearing a cross racist.

Spath clearly isn't very bright, but in a perverse way I find his dogged defence of a position that is so obviously wrong quite admirable in a way. He's wrong - he couldn't be more wrong if he tried - but he's giving it a bloody good go.
Deskdiary
Most Generous summing up of Spaths stance on most posts on AB.
Others, who are perhaps more mature and don't suffer fools gladly might describe it as trolling. Hey Ho.Every one to their own. :-)
'Right or Wrong My Country.' That was the mantra of the Nazis. Surely our defender of all things Islam is not a facist? Surely Not.
In this thread https://www.theanswerbank.co.uk/News/Question1661315-3.html Spath stated "Well the fact discussing this (for me) made me connote M with monkey is yet another issue with this ‘advertisement" which on the face of it is incredibly racist. I can only speak for myself, but I have never looked at a black man and thought 'Monkey', so I do wryly smile when he breaks out The Card.

I'm being a bit mischievous - I don't think spath is racist, I just think (using the Diane Abbot defence) that he misspoke.

But - he needs to learn what racism is. I have no issue in anybody waving the card if there truly is racism, but I hate the card being waved when there is no racism.
