I know it's something outgoing PMs do but with her appalling track record it's farcical to create even more Lords and Sirs, the House of Lords should be scrapped !!

Jack , it's outdated ,antiquated and should be abolished
I'm sure she's become immune to being called rude names by old men Jack.

You are a charmer.
I suppose she'll be even more cocky now.
If incompetents like Brown or Major, cowards like Cameron or the war criminal Tony Blair got their pick, Mrs May should get hers.

Good God, one day Boris will have a turn! One day soon with any luck.

What do you mean Mamya?
Jack has rightly said that Cressida Dick has been made a Dame
But doesn't that just further highlight how detached our leadership of this country has become from the people.

We should all take a true stand at the next election and nobody should cast a single vote. Throw them all on the jobless pile.
Question Author
As I said Mozz, it's about time the Lords was abolished altogether
Bobbi, I am hardly going to repeat what he said now that someone has removed it am I?
Question Author
I must be naive , I thought Jack was referring to Cressida Dick , the police Commissioner ?
He was.
If you didn't see it or read it fully, let it go.

I'm sure he can reword it.
//I must be naive , I thought Jack was referring to Cressida Dick , the police Commissioner ?//

He was Bobbi, I think Mamya read it as an abusive reference to Theresa May.

I wouldn't put that beyond Jack tbh.
Question Author
I don't expect you to repeat it but not sure what it is he said wrong
Question Author
Mozz, I disagree ,Jack isn't your archetype nasty person to write contentious stuff

Even more hypocritical when you consider that she promised to revamp the honours system. 2 years ago she said;"We will review the honours system to make sure it commands public confidence, rewards genuine public service and that recipients uphold the integrity of the honours bestowed." Fast forward to Sir Geoffrey Boycott saying "I don't give a toss" when told of the public's reaction to a convicted woman beater being given a Knighthood. She also bestowed honours on 41 of her flunkies. As Jim Royle would say if he were censored; "Integrity my aris!"
I've seen repeated entries on various threads referring to the lady as "Mrs Richard Head".

I'm no fan of hers, but there's no real need is there?
Question Author
Yep Ken, true
Question Author
Not going to pursue this
Goodnight !
