Lily Allen Says 'record Label Failed To Act On Assault'
On BBC news site, but I can't copy the link. Perhaps someone can do it for me.
Would be interested to know the views of ABers on this. I personally can't see that it warrants being News and do have my own views. Just want to see if others agree.
Apologies if this has already been raised on AB.

That said, her timing in revealing this incident just as her book is published, and her album is up for an award is either monumentally poor planning, or cynical media manipulation, and neither of them cast her in a good light, or provide the correct background to the prospects for dealing with the situation with the appropriate attention it out to receive.

As a civilsed society, we should remain vigilant that, because someone is prone to publicizing views, or behaving in a way, that puts them at odds with the society in which they live, we don't then deny them the freedoms and rights of that society, to which they remain entitled, because that would be unreasonable, and against the premise of being a civilized society

I feel sure everyone can post a link. It's as simple as highlighting the address in the browser, (including any http:// or https:/ / that'll probably be seen as a link now) copying it (may need to right click to get menu) right clicking in the answer box here and pasting (ensuring it isn't touching some other text either at the start or the end). Just need to experiment until one works out how to copy and paste in one's particular browser.//
Old geezer. My tablet, in recent months has stopped me copying the http link. Don't ask me why. It still copies and pastes everything else. It's driving me crazy!
