….after two women claim she operated ‘whites-only’ recruitment policy.

But it transpires that no one, be they white, black, or green with purple spots, was hired.

She rejected all five ethnic minority and all five white applicants.

When some from ethnic minorities are so eager to play the race card at the first opportunity, is it any wonder that employers are wary of employing them? I think not.

Patients come and go and unsurprisingly come in all variants - sounds like real life doesn't it?
Its down to positive discrimination in recruitment.
BBC on record for it, as some Police Forces, and there is more evidence to find without much digging.
It hasn't developed naturally though, Theland. Even today there are still problems with racism and sexism. Have a look at any thread where a black person is chosen, and it is automatically assumed, he is not the best person for the job, but the right colour.
AB has proven to me why "positive discrimination" is necessary. I never believed it was before... but we have had centuries to balance things out, and those in positions of power (usually white males) have totally failed and the attitudes have changed very little. I can now see why they have to be "forced" to give others a chance.
Black people are over represented on the aBBC, imo. They shoe-horn them into everything. Even historical dramas, lol.
But anyway, you all go on picking on Theland, you'll be on safe ground there.
Nobody is picking on him... just speaking to him. And while it is very heartwarming that white, male ABers never see any racism or sexism going on... it does kind of prove the issue, rather than answering it.
Not really, Spicerack, if you don't notice it, you don't notice it and can't help but question those that do.
Responding to his comment about a particular programme that seems unfounded to me.
I still believe the best man/woman for the job regardless of race, colour or creed. Alas expertise and experience are now sacrificed in either the name of economy or Political Correctness and diversity.
you couldn't force rhubarb. pixie. x
Black Police Association? Black Lawyers Association? Diane Abbott, Lammy et al consistently griping about black rights?
No. Sorry.
We all rub along nicely around here until we put the TV on or read a newspaper, then we are expected to feel guilt for White privilege.
Sadly, retrocop... historically, that just doesn't naturally happen. Unless you genuinely believe a white man is genuinely "always" the best person for the job... or why are they in so many better positions, better represented and better paid than anyone else?
No need to feel guilty, theland, obviously. Just appreciate you won't always have the advantage every time.
Don't understand, spice, sorry x
Retrocop - At last some sign of sanity.
Theland, the only advice I can offer you is that if you find yourself tutting at non white characters in TV shows, you'd be better off with the radio.
Lol... explains a lot... xx
You keep talking about forcing people to do things. As I advised, stop going to those Common Purpose lectures. They're turning you into a megalomaniac.
(rhubarb folk keep it in the dark, it's called 'forcing', in case that's the bit you don't understand)
Check this out - London - Blacks stab blacks - Black community outraged and demand action - Police increase Stop And Sesrch - Black community scream Racist Police. Wring hands in desperation.
Am I wrong?
No idea what a Common purpose lecture is, spice. Just giving my own views. I am not "forcing" anything. The laws are doing that x
I would say so, Theland.
Theland... the statistics for stabbing are much more likely to be male than black. Why are you concentrating only on the part that doesn't involve you?
