looks like some of the public have had enough of these eejits disrupting their daily lives. Good on them. Personally I'd have just let the train drive off with them on, they'd soon jump off!

If you are insulted because your words describe your character and opinion that may say more about your character than it does the one sketching the judgement.

You have no idea what my character is !!!! I dare not put here how I would describe yours.

I suspect XR didn't really have much of a clue exactly who it was they were *** off yesterday. Far from being yuppie docklands types, the population of Canning Town is largely working class, and here were working people being prevented from doing so by a rag-tag army of middle and middle-upper class protesters who probably have private incomes and nothing else to occupy their time. XR needs the support of the very people they are inconveniencing and would do well to remember that.
The latest.

I shouldn't lose any sleep over them, spath.
If you believe in mob rule(which they, ER, do) it's no good crying when a bigger mob adopt your tactics.
Anyway, a black passenger was kicked in the head by one of the fare-dodgers before the trouble started. You must be a racist for condoning such behaviour. You need locking up.

dragging someone from a roof onto their back to then lay a few punches into their face with the rest of ur meat head mob mates is different from accidentally kicking someone whilst trying to get on top of the train. Why does it matter what colour they are though? It's irrelevant.
As i said.. i hope those on top of the train AND those on the platform face retribution.

//A FOUNDER of the Extinction Rebellion protests has been accused of “blind hypocrisy” after it was revealed she had flown to Central America for a luxury holiday despite leading calls for a “rapid reduction” in air travel.
Gail Bradbrook clocked up 11,000 air miles as she flew to Costa Rica for a week’s £2,500 stay at the New Life Iboga retreat then a week touring the tropical paradise.
She revealed that her holiday of self-discovery included taking hallucinogenic drugs that inspired her calling “to get with the spirit of the otter”.
And she said it was “filled with nature and the warm sea”, cooing over lizards, iguanas, birds that “nick your breakfast” and monkeys that “smash mangoes on the roofs”. She also gushed that she wanted to use her visit to “express my most passionate self” in “the most filthiest, animal way”.
Bradbrook said she contacted a spirit known as Grandmother Ayahuasca and got a “kick up the a*** on negative habits”.//

Jackdaw, during the sixties we had similar demonstrations only these were "ban the bomb" people. As well as marches they often demonstrated outside RAF & USAF stations. Thousands arrived at an USAF base and we, RAF personnel, were sent to reinforce the station. At once stage the demonstrators threatened to cut the boundary wire and invade. We drew up three fire tenders filled with foam for aircraft crashes and informed them we intended to use them if they breached the area; adding that the foam contained ox blood and stank to high heaven. ( modern foam is no longer made with blood). Strangely the threat was enough and they all fell back. Slurry sounds just as good. :o)
