I can't access the page, I'm afraid so I don't know what this is about, but I will lay money that pupils found a way around whatever the rules were. (Many years experience.)
No phones, just bring your own box. :-)
Is this the staple method in exams.
Has this not come up before with a link that can be accessed?
Indian students invited to bring cardboard boxes to wear on their heads whilst doing a chemistry exam at Uni. Supposed to prevent cheating.
Heavens forbid they wish to bring their honesty and integrity to the UK and stand as Councellors in Tower Hamlets for instance. :-(
Ah, retrocop, I saw something about that earlier. I believe the authorities have apologised. Having spent many quiet (and remunerated) hours pacing up and down exam rooms, I humbly suggest spacing the desks differently (staggered) and looking under them for illicit phones etc.. They definitely will try anything - eagle eyes on cuffs being moved up the arm for equations etc.. :)
They should try thinking outside the box.
O_G ^^^^^ :) :) :)
It took them an hour to realise it was a bad idea, oh dear me.
Methinks Indian students and their teachers have a good sense of humour.
