I have no idea how this chap found himself in this situation but I wish the rescuers luck in getting him down.

looks like the chimney has been laddered for maintenance and some idiot took the opportunity to climb it.

Sources say he has a bad dose of flue.

looks like he's climbed up there, some sort of stunt, maybe he was Oliver, got in a pickle at the top, looks like he's stuck hanging by a leg.

One report has said there are no signs of life. I imagine hypothermia may have set in because I cant believe it is very warm up there!

If there were still signs of life this morning it seems an awfully long time since he was spotted until 5pm. I'm sure Fred Dibnah (RIP) would have had him down much quicker.
