But perversely, and unusually, I partly agree with Spath as well, as I think if I and mine were in that situation, I think I'd probably try to get us out....or at the very least see if it looked possible.

Much has been said of prosecuting the cladding manufacturers, the installers and the designers, but IF (and I have no idea whether this is the case), the cladding met the requirements at the time it was manufactured, the installers installed it correctly and the designers designed it correctly, then as far as I can see surely there would be no case to answer (the State of the Art defence).

Grenfell was a perfect/unholy storm of happenings, the like of which had never been seen before.
It is ridiculous to suggest that anyone from LFB ought to be prosecuted.
This really *is* one of those situations where lessons learnt need to be effected asap.

when the fire brigade arrived, there was a fridge fire in a flat on the 4th floor, which they believed to have been dealt with. at the time they didn't know the fire had already spread outside.
