Sounds like they did him a favour cutting out the lengthy response. Rights, under control of Westminster, can be as good or bad as our parliament decides on our behalf. It needs no outside interference. Customs union and single market is simply a description of remaining in the EU federation. So, pretty much he didn't have a decent response then.

That stated, they all do this misrepresentation thing. It's not right but older savvy citizens see through it.

Millions watched this live so the chances of the manipulation being spotted and called out was very great.
