She says he had sex with her three times, he says he’s never even met her....though there is a famous photo showing them together. None of us were present (I assume) but which of them does your instinct tell you is speaking the truth and which is lying? My instinct believes Ms Roberts

Barsel, she has made claims against an American attorney as well. He is suing her for defamation of character. Both cases are on going at the moment. I saw it on TV last night.

Just wondering ---If the age of consent in America is 16,17,or even 18 and then the girl has sex here in London. Do the rules in the country you are in dictate the age of consent or does it depend on where you are from.

I would assume the laws where you are. Otherwise, for example, we would be allowing such things as cutting off hands, etc. if you were from an Islamic country (bit of an extreme example!)

The age of consent here, as I'm sure you know, is 16, so if she had sex in the UK and was 17yrs old at the time nobody was breaking any rules. If she had sex with someone against her will, then that would be classed as rape, but I doubt she would have said no.

Not at all Mozz. I've read about her life and how she was destitute and needed money when she was a young girl. To be offered huge amounts of money to sleep with someone at that stage in her life, as I said, she probably wouldn't turn it down. Obviously she isn't in that situation now and wouldn't do that, but as an impressionable young girl that needed the money?
