sorry it posted twice for some reason, boaty can you delete one...
Well they have to do something to address their woeful numbers. And if the only way is to focus on something else then that’s what they have to do. There’s no point flogging a dead horse !!

However it will convince some people that are in the dithery section. But those that know what they want will not be convinced. How many will be fooled or even if enough will be fooled is yet to be determined.

"The Labour Party is to re-shape their general election campaign strategy - particularly in Leave-voting areas - to try to turn around a stubborn Conservative opinion poll lead. "

will it work i wonder, or is it too little too late.
So its not enough for them to be honest about what they actually believeand would do and then leave it to voters to decide?
On the 7am news the latest poll suggests that Tories will have a majority of 68 seats. This from a poll site which accurately forecast the hung parliament in 2017 election.
Question Author
The "honest broker" himself - Jeremy Corbyn - will be touring some Leave seats very soon too.

honest, i don't think so....
The trouble with all pollsters, Danny, is that they allow themselves "a wide margin of error". Bit like a weather forecaster saying "It may rain, then again, it may not."
Question Author
i think its a bad move on their part, after all they always accuse the Tories of dithering and breaking their word.
what will it do if they really change their stance?
I don’t think they are changing their stance just how they campaign on the same issues. Emphasising different things.

I hope to god we don’t get a Labour (or lib dem) majority.
Question Author
cassa me neither, would be a disaster for the country as a whole
^
Any idea how they did in the one before that and the one before that, etc, etc. How did they forecast the referendum would go? Two things i no longer listen to, Danny; pollsters and the ex-wife:-/
Don't count your chickens before they are hatched

I recall a lot on here saying that Labour would be sunk by the Tories , in the last election as did the polls
Ken, I only know what is in the link.
Question Author
i am taking nothing for granted, i think it could well be a hung Parliament.
Bazile// as did the polls//
Not by the poll mentioned in the link, they got it right.
Oh! emmie, are you such a pessimist ?
Question Author
where the electorate is concerned i am
"Almost a quarter of seats have small majorities"

Says it all really - most of us (75%) are just wasting our time even thinking about this stuff!
This begs the question was Labour's previous strategy less than truthful, or is the new one less than truthful?
